I honestly don't know what to make of Kelis at UConn. We don't get to see in her in practice but in our brief glimpses she appear to be a terrific player. But to date she is a ball-dominant 2 that finds her own offense through individual one-on-one play. To my recollection (spotty at best) UConn hasn't had a player like that. Not to overstate a minor point but I really love to watch Kelis' two minutes at the end of every game. If she doesn't get major playing time next year I'll be really surprised.
I assume the hope would be that she can transition into something closer to a PG but that would likely be more as a CG that plays alongside one of KK or K9 (as she does now). Lots of competition for backcourt minutes alongside those two.
