Yes Mullins is significantly betterIt's basically last year, plus Demary. Is Mullins better than McNeeley?

I’m not sure things are remotely as complicated as they have been in the past. All those complicated offensive sets and there's no inbounds play. I can't understand.
That might work, but the larger problem seems to be that we are always slower and less physical. We need to recruit more dynamic athleticism.I think I'd much prefer Mullins be the passer and use Alex as a big target to the throw the inbound pass to and either pass to the guards or get fouled.
Michigan’s better. Are you holding every UConn team to the standard of it being a disappointment if they’re not the #1 team in the country?Michigan won by a dozen on the road.
There's things that just aren't making sense like what you pointed out. Lewis is their best player, why on earth was he Solo's assignment? AK has been horrible at inbounding the ball for 4 years, why is he still inbounding the ball? What's with the substitution patterns? Why is Solo allowed to launch so many difficult contested threes? Why does it seem like team IQ is getting worse as the season goes along?Demary making clutch FTs finally. Love the mental strength.
The bad game is on the staff. Defensive assignments (Solo on Lewis!?) were a mess. Inbounding clearly hasn't been worked on enough. AK needs to not inbound. Be a big hail mary target

Okay. UConn is not that good. On Monday, go to 422 North High Street and get to the roof. Then, take a flying leap.
Stunting Reibe’s development to watch Reed not hustle and make the same mistakes over and over.
No Reed still start. He is still a physical beast. I love how fans like to pile on players who have 1 or 2 bad games. Reed might need a shorter leash. Calhoun did say Reibe should get more minutes than he has as it will serve us in the big game. Let's keep the 2 headed monster.Start Reibe. Get Reed outta here.

Reed is better than last year, though he didn't have a great game tonight. I thought Reibe was better then Sam Johnson but lately not sure. I wouldn't say Mullins is better than McNeeley, but close. I like Mahaney better than Smith. I think in general the team plays better defense than last year. Maybe that is Demary's influence, but everyone seems to rotate better on defense than last year. Overall I credit Demary, defensive cohesiveness and Reed's improvement for the difference from last year. It's basically last year, plus Demary. Is Mullins better than McNeeley?
Liam could rebound.Yes, considerably
2 titles in the last 36 months and 24-2 this year, old man grumps. But you do youOh, here comes the Pom Pom brigade.
You and your straw man can go sit in a corner.

Last season too. Can’t blame it all on AK. This is on the coaches. It’s been going on almost every game, with different inbounders.
The Solo threes are happening because there’s no Cam Spencer or Tristen Newton to make a cerebral pass or dagger shot and get us out of a situation. We’re left with Solo scrambling to get himself open off the dribble for three. It all comes back to a lack of ability to create off the dribble. Same as least year. There's things that just aren't making sense like what you pointed out. Lewis is their best player, why on earth was he Solo's assignment? You are your record but this certainly doesn't feel like a 24-2 team.
If we’ve learned anything about this team it’s that they play up and down to the competition. SJ and Nova don’t worry me. It’s some 8-9 seed team we overlook taking us out that does.We got incredibly lucky tonight. We don't look anything like the team we were in those big out of conference games earlier in the season and I don't know why. It certainly isn't all on the refs and style of Big East play.
If we don't play a lot better @Nova and St. John's at home they will both be losses.
Not writing them off or anything but we're running out of time to figure things out.
