Everyone needs a psychologist. Everyone who can afford it has one. That's no lie and it's nothing to be ashamed about either. Most big programs have sports psychologists, I know a lot do for a fact and even IMG does, so they more than likely have some in their athletic department.
It’s not an insult to say, I think we all agree he needs it. His shot is busted and it’s not due to form.
I was laughing not at the your perceiced humor of your comment, but rather, the stupidity of it.Not surprised Mo Howard got a kick out of that. The two most relentlessly negative clowns on this board stick together.
Saying this with the typosI was laughing not at the your perceiced humor of your comment, but rather, the stupidity of it.
This is what practice is for. And as far as your blueprint, it’s proven to be a losing formula. Not sure why you’re celebrating a losing formula. The object of the game is to win. It’s like saying you have the cure to a deadly disease, but when tested, it doesn’t work. We have things to work on like every other team. If we see it, then the coaches see it, it’s their job. I will say, what is concerning, is Ball’s poor play. Without him playing at a high level, we’re in trouble. Everything else is just what you said, a trend. They come and go.100% agree…..too many people on this board focused on the outcome, not the trend. This trend is very disturbing.
The AP is one of the most predictable things on the planet. The voters barely think, they just move stuff around based on who won and who lost. The amount of you who don’t know how the AP poll works is exhausting.
Because your just loud, confident, and wrong
UConn is obviously moving up to 2. They always were if they beat GTown.
They're winning, but there are flaws. One issue is that it's been very rare we get the whole group playing well in the same game. Today we had Silas and some Tarris for a bit, and that's where it ended. Other days it's a different 1 or 2 players. One of these days, we'll get all 5 guys clicking, hopefully. This is what practice is for. And as far as your blueprint, it’s proven to be a losing formula. Learned a long time ago never go on chatThe chat is beyond toxic, and I worked in DC.
You mean 3 bad games out of 19, all spread out? If that's a slump every player would probably take that. Come on, be real.AK is in a slump, but also, some of the passes to him are just a second late. The timing just seems off. Demary is a great passer, but it seems like other guys don't expect Karaban to clear and that can mess with a shooter's shot.
true!Choking only happens when you lose
O M G2 things…
1) Maybe the take that Dan alluded to about the Big East not being that good was not a great move…. I remember Dan said something like how much they win by is important etc. Classic poster board stuff We are on everyone’s radar as the team to beat. Every team looks hyper motivated to beat us!
2) We’re spoiled as fans. We’re 18-1 and whining over how we won LOL. Choking only happens when you lose - that’s my take. A “W” is a “W”
lolI wasn’t worried about it at all. I don’t recall the press forcing a single turnover. This year’s team handles the ball so much better than last year’s team. I am quite concerned about their three point shooting and their rebounding.
It is only mid January. UConn often struggles in January even in the championship years. Yes they need to improve in many categories but they have plenty of time to do it. If they are still playing like this at the end of February then its time be concerned. For now we should be enjoying the wins. It is good for them to play in close games with game pressure on. If the team has weaknesses its good for them to be exposed now while there is plenty of time to make adjustments. We're 18-1 and likely to move to #2 in the AP Poll, but my concern is if we have this type of shooting night in the NCAA tournament, we're not going to be cutting down the nets.
It’s been a losing formula because teams either took too long to get into it or didn’t have the talent to pull it off. This was Seton Hall and Georgetown, not Michigan and Duke. This is what practice is for. And as far as your blueprint, it’s proven to be a losing formula. They only had 17 TOs in that game. Not great but better than last year. It was the inability to make an outside shot that allowed Seton Hall back in that game. If they make 2 more 3s and shoot 5-17 rather than 3-17, that game never gets close. Unlike last year they didn’t turn it over once the lead was cut to 1 and they finished strong.lol
That’s 100% how SH turned an 18 point deficit into 1 within about 12 minutes. How could you say that isn’t a concern??
Wow, that's quite strong and insulting comment. It’s been a losing formula because teams either took too long to get into it or didn’t have the talent to pull it off. This was Seton Hall and Georgetown, not Michigan and Duke.
God you people are stupid
