This! And foul shootingI am worried about how we have been outrebounded in a majority of games so far this season.

This is laugh out loud funnyYes, I’m extremely glad we won. This may prevent us from moving to #2 though.
No, it’s a glass not seenNow that’s a glass half full
Me too! Perspective is not friends with the Boneyard, so it’s hard to tell how much to freak out. This is our best hope for an explanation as to the anemic offense we are seeing. I hope you are right!
Yes they have one lossDeserved to lose
More importantly, the blueprint on how to beat us is now clearly out there for all to see
Coaching staff will have to earn their chops now cuz even I could design a game plan on how to beat Uconn
LolYes they have one loss
To the number 1 team in the nation
With 40% of our starters out
But go ahead John wooden Jr
Big East reffing. Doesn’t exist in the TournamentIts a mystery to me how Big East teams look like Final Four teams against us, yet come March always exit before the Sweet 16.
Refs were fine tonightBig East reffing. Doesn’t exist in the Tournament
Turning down good shots for great shots is a good if your team gets great shots later. But there is no guarantee that a great shot will result if a good shot is turned down. In fact, turning down a good shot can result in getting a bad shot later. FWIW, I think some players are turning down good shots due to a reluctance to shoot rather than trying to get a great shot.I may be in the minority here but we need to generate more possessions. We are playing entirely too slow. It trims our margin for error. We took the shot clock down to >5 seconds on way too many possessions turning down good shots looking for great ones. I loved the quick Ross 3. Take the good shots!! It’s infuriating.
If we want some perspective on conference road games, Iowa St is down 4 at the half to a bad Cinci team. This is laugh out loud funny
The lol part is why you would gives a rats a s s about our ranking right now, especially after a game like that. That has to be the most bizarre post game take I’ve heardIf we want some perspective on conference road games, Iowa St is down 4 at the half to a bad Cinci team.
I also hope that he told the rest of the team the next time he picks up his dribble beyond the three point line make sure someone helps him out by going to get it and not everyone running from him.I like how calmly Hurley told Reed, "Don't ever freakin do that again."
That’s been the book on us all year and yet only 1 of 19 opponents have beaten us and that was when we were down 2 of our best playersIt means that teams can look at tape from this game and the Seton Hall game and it’s obvious how to play us: tough, grind it out and press us. Coaches need to be prepared for it.
What did you think it meant??
This is what I find solace in. Everyone is trying to figure it outIf we want some perspective on conference road games, Iowa St is down 4 at the half to a bad Cinci team.
This team was constructed with the purpose of being a great shooting team and have depth to wear down the opposition. So far this team has not shown itself to be a great shooting team and the depth has been non existent as Danny through his actions has showed who he trusts by limiting the bench minutes (and I am not criticizing Danny for doing that). Hopefully the 1 week off rejuvenates this team. He's become easily our most valuable player. I have no idea what is going on with Malachi - he's become a series of bad decisions almost anytime he comes in now.
