It's easy to take the high road when you have the inside track on that road.
He's not engaging in politics to try and get TCU in, unlike his fellow conference foe in Whacko, Texas.
Let your record speak for itself. Patterson is a class act.

Did Art Briles f--- your dog or something?
This little vendetta trip of yours is really strange.
What were his views after the fact? They kept claiming one true champion, yet they announced co champs. How'd that work out for them. How's that? His team just got dropped from No. 3 to No. 6 for doing nothing more than stomping Iowa State yesterday. I think Gary would disagree with you at this point about TCU having "the inside track on that road."

That's hogwash. Oregon is CFB nouveau riche. It just worked out like this for the B12 this year. A one loss ACC team wasn't getting in.If your from the B12, and your name isn't Texas or Oklahoma, you're not going to the college football playoff. People need to get use to this. Again, there are only select few teams from each conference (and Notre Dame) who will ever play in the college playoff.
Sorry, but any school and coach which goes around pimping themselves to the committee obviously thought they really don't belong, so it's going to take some extra help for them to get there. So let's hire a PR firm to lobby for us. Well, if they don't really think they belong, then maybe, just maybe, they don't.
I wonder if the PR firm took this task on a contingency fee basis? I doubt it. Baylor's gonna have to pony up the money to pay those invoices. Pathetic.
i refused to like this but sadly it's true.If your from the B12, and your name isn't Texas or Oklahoma, you're not going to the college football playoff. People need to get use to this. Ever think Patterson shut his hole because he lost to Baylor head to head and was smart enough not to say anything stupid?
But that did not happen. TCU took care of business and still got hosed.Had Florida State lost to Georgia Tech then Baylor goes. If Ohio State and Florida State lost than both TCU and Baylor go. Is this obvious fact lost on people saying they could never go? Baylor was a GT field goal from going.
Amazing how even some of the long time knowledgeable posters are struggling with this. Ohio States win over Wisconsin on a neutral field was greater than TCU win at home over Iowa State, they were already ahead of Baylor. Things broke perfectly wrong forthe big 12 on the last day. OSU was down to their third string QB, NO ONE could have seen that performance coming.i refused to like this but sadly it's true.

Have to agree with Pudge that OSU is exalted. All winning on Saturday, nothing shoulda changed from last week.
