Games Jan. 27 to Feb. 2

Penn State is giving Northwestern all they can handle, up 38-37 at the half.

Huge 3rd quarter for Northwestern 29-7. Up 17 midway thru Q4.

Kansas hammering Oklahoma 43-22 midway thru Q2!

Yikes. A loss here would put Oklahoma at 10-11. They are headed the wrong direction.

I thought Oklahoma had turned the corner a few weeks back. Now, they're in a death spiral.

The KU/OU game is 49-27 at halftime. Did the Jayhawks get confused and think they were playing another of their OOC cupcakes today? Shooting 54% and 7-12 behind the arc. OU has 17 TOs, that's probably a big part of it.

Cincinnati and USF coming down to the last possession. USF just had a chance to tie or win and Sydni Harvey dribbled it off her foot.

This game is pretty inconsequential. Both teams are inevitably headed toward the WNIT, no chance for an NCAA bid.

Oklahoma is roaring back, lead cut to 12 midway thru Q3.

In the A-10, Duquesne edges out VCU 79-76, leaving Dayton as the only unbeaten in conference play.

Earlier in the season, someone said they thought Dayton might be one of the worst 20 teams in the country (or something like that). I'm gonna say that's not quite the case.

Robertson and Williams hit 3s for OU near the end of 3Q to cut the lead to 6. This could get tight.

.-.
DePaul only up 2 thru Q1 against 1-9 in conference Providence. Hangover from their last game?

.-.
Kansas up 5 w/ just under 4 minutes left.

Down to the wire at Kansas.
Robertson and Franklin trading baskets.
Kansas leads by 1 with a minute left.

Liz Scott makes 1 of 2 FTs to tie the game with 0:44 left.

Robertson now has 24 points, 5-8 from 3.
Zakiyah Franklin, a freshman for KU, has 25 points.

Maybe Boston College isn't as bad as I think they are? Beat Wake Forest today to even up their conference record.

Wake Forest just lost to Pitt.

Gregory missed a 3 that would've won the game. Headed to overtime in Phog Allen Fieldhouse.

All Oklahoma in OT. Up 9 under a minute left.

.-.
Oklahoma is going to survive this game, currently up 89-80 with less than a minute left in OT.

Madi Williams has scored 9 points in overtime for OU.

Really early, but Denver jumped out on South Dakota 14-6 out of the gate.

South Dakota has it under control now, up 33-22.

Missouri St. leading Illinois St. 41-28.

Nebraska up 15 over Ohio St. at the half in a bubblicious battle.

Very bubbly.

Ohio State is going to need to find some wins. They are perilously close to .500 on the season.

Those wacky Creighton Blue Jays. Up at Marquette 32-19 at the half, lead disappeared instantly, now tied at 34 w/ 3 minutes left in Q3.
