Thanks again for the weekly games thread!
I usually get this out around midday, but between the Boneyard poll and some real-life stuff, it suffered an unfortunate delay.

I do it for myself mainly, because I really like having the week's games at a glance, rather than having to scroll through multiple pages on ESPN or such. I'm glad you like it as well :)

Hard to believe this is the last week of regular season play for many conferences! Time has flown by...

I use it to plan my non UConn viewing/streaming choices so I check it out daily.

And time flies by quicker and quicker as each season passes by...

In yesterday's game. Duke beat State in Raleigh

In todays game... there is a barnburner going on right now down in Clinton SC. HPU and the Blue Hose of PC are all tied up 54-54 with 4:17 left in the 3rd quarter.

Penn at #19 Princeton (7p, ESPN+) is also on SNY right now. Hot start for Berube's team!

.-.
HPU defeats a tough Presbyterian squad 79-71. Your Sunbelt Rental Player of the game was Senior Guard Camryn Brown.

Meanwhile... down in Charleston..... the Mighty Camels of Campbell are down 19-10 with 3 minutes to go in the first half to lowly Charleston Southern

Still a rock fight down in Charleston.... 25-25 tied up with 6 minutes left in the 3rd. Cant go down to the Buc Dome and not expect a battle.

The Charleston Southern announcer must be lurking on this site.... he just mentioned it was a Barnburner down in the Buc Dome
lol.gif

These Camels cant get over the hump..... still down 34-32... into the fourth

Huge upset brewing down in the Buc Dome...... Last place Charleston Southern with a RPI of 344 is leading 1st place Campbell 40-39 with 1:44 left in the fourth quarter

Charleston Southern must be the best team in the country with an RPI of 344

heartbreak for the Lady Bucs..... the Camels win 43-42 on a controversial finish....... those refs better get outta Charleston quick

.-.
Critical game for Nicholls (8-16, 7-10 Southland) tonight, hosting Houston Baptist (4-19, 2-14 Southland) as the Colonels hope to make it 5 in a row and stay in the running for that #8 seed in the conference race.

The biggest upset of the wcbb season is brewing....... winless Hartford is leading first place Stony Brook 41-34 at the half

Appears Ohio has 7 minutes to save their NCAA Tourney chances.

Lost last up to Akron (RPI 163) 76-79 and now down 56-64 @ Bowling Green (RPI 261).

This is a really bad loss for them.

Kellie Harper can send Bowling Green a muffin basket

.-.
Previously winless Hartford just pulled off the America East upset of the century!

And in their final game of the season.

A storybook ending to an otherwise trying season. Congrats to Morgan Valley and her Hawks.

And now Stony Brook is on a two game losing streak. Can they get it together?

RPI 346 beats RPI 59

That might be the biggest RPI upset in WCBB history

Not on @Plebe excellent weekly list - tomorrow NAU Lumberjacks on the road at Montana for a key game with conference tournament seeding implications.

The Grizz beat the Jacks by 8 in Flagstaff in late Dec.

Currently in second place, the Jacks could finish anywhere from 2-7. Top 5 in Big Sky tournament get a first round bye.

Oklahoma lost at home to Kansas 83-80. Sooners drop to 5-10 in conference and 12-15 overall. How long can Coale hang on there?

Don't think it helps them at all but Michigan St. picked up a road win over Illinois 72-58.

.-.
Nicholls edged Houston Baptist, 57-53, temporarily taking over sole possession of 8th place in the Southland with 2 games remaining.

Whew. That was too close for comfort, playing at home against a cellar dweller. But a win's a win, and that makes 5 in a row for the Colonels.

The Southland has two dogfights going on:
  1. The top 4 (SFA, TAMCC, SHSU, ACU) are separated by only 1 game. The top 2 seeds will get a double bye to the semifinals of the Southland tournament. Teams #3 and #4 only get a single bye.
  2. Teams 7-9 (SLU, Nicholls, UCA) are also separated by 1 game. Team #9 will be left at home.

The tiebreaker procedures in the Southland are really elaborate. But the Colonels' upcoming home game vs. New Orleans is huge, as it could give them the tiebreaker edge over UCA.

HUGE game in the SoCon tonight. UNCG plays at Samford. If the Spartans win.... they pretty much clinch the #1 seed in next week's tournament. Lose.... and they probably fall to #3. 7pm on ESPN+

Couldn't see a individual game thread so posted here.

Boston College can do themselves (and UConn fans that prefer to try to avoid Top 3 before FF by being in Top 5 overall) a favor by defeating Louisville today.

Alabama with a 14 point lead over TAMU late in 2Q. If they win this game, they could snag a bid. And it could also take a hosting spot from the Ags

Bama snagging a NCAA Bid ?
