Looks like a sellout but some resells available on line. Upper level running about $50 lower level about $150 and up. Only one greedy scalper asking over $1,000 for 19th row behind the basket. Resells going fast this morning .

Our first capacity crowd of the year? Let’s schedule better non-conference home games next year (if we can)More P-4s please!

Looks like our future with UConn will always be neutral sites. 😢
Damn $ 1,000? for behind a basket? Would have thought that would be closer to a team bench

Just stumbled upon this post and really enjoyed the interview. Can’t help but think that what Chloe Kitts is going through now will be an overall positive as long as the injury doesn’t become a recurring thing. She’ll probably come back bigger and stronger and better prepared for the professional game once she finishes her final season at SC.

I really admire dad’s perspective. It’s particularly telling that he said he and his wife really wanted Dawn Staley’s strong female influence in their daughter’s life. It made me stop and reflect, not for the first time, what an accomplished woman she is. She has been a major force in women’s basketball since she was a teenager, and I see no signs of her slowing down.

About 5 years ago, the Colorado Buffs had a reunion event where they honored the '94-95 team during the weekend, including at the game on that Sunday. As many of you may know, Tournebize's mother Isabelle Fijalkowski was on that team. I don't know if she attended the reunion events but here's the info that she shared at the time for the post on the website:

C Isabelle Fijalkowski
Current position: I'm the manager of a training center in the region of Auvergne Rhone Alpes. The sports center is in Vichy, in central France, about 400 km from Paris. With my coaching staff we support young basketball players from 13 to 15 years old. This organization is part of the BB French Fédération Performance project. I worked for the French Fédération for 17 years. I am also in charge of a development program for basketball players of large size. I was the assistant coach of young national teams U18 U20 and U25 for four years, competing for European Championships and international games.

Family: I have two children: Vincent, age 15; and Alicia, age 13. They both play basketball. I coach my daughter's team (JA Vichy) and it's a lot of fun to share these special moments!

Favorite CU memories: Playing for an American university was a dream come true. It was tough but I loved it. My season at CU helped me to become mentally tough and achieve my goals with club teams in France, in the WNBA, in Italy and with the French national team (European champion, Olympian in Sydney 2000). Winning and sweeping the conference was the best basketball memory — and the worst was being eliminated one step away from the Final Four

How CU influenced your life: It showed me also that you can be a woman and a great inspiring coach like Ceal Barry and coach (Karen) Morrison. All the staff were women — the exact opposite in France, even today. They shared their passion, their competitiveness, their confidence and the right attitude to become a champion. I still follow CU basketball through Facebook and my former CU teammates too!

We won but that was exhausting to watch...

Game over… a hard fought, close win against a team that beat us in a similar game two months ago. The defense by both teams was outstanding, and both teams caused the other to turn the ball over way beyond their respective averages.

.-.
Bizarre ending that Texas didn't even both to foul in the last 7 seconds. Joyce Edwards had the ball and she's only a 63% FT shooter.

At any rate, entertaining game though it wasn't pretty at times. Raven Johnson with some monster buckets down the stretch. And Okot nailing a 3 took me back to Cardoso's 3 to beat Tennessee a couple of years ago. Ultimately that was the difference in the game, it was the first time there was any separation between the teams.

Uneventful debut for Tourbenize but she looks like she's just dripping with potential. Very fluid moving up and down the court and looks every inch of 6'7, plus has a 6'10 wing span. Once she gets further acclimated I see her being a major contributor for this team. Probably moves ahead of Tac on the depth chart.

I said it was a mistake by Edwards not to take the layup, but erased by Texas failing to foul. Odd. Maybe they were just mentally exhausted by that point.

The good thing about that is I'm moving to NYC when I retire in a couple of years. You better bet I'm going to push for a game at MSG or Barclays. We have A LOT of alumni in the tri state area.

Texas not fouling was a surprise to me.

I was one of them for a while when I was working for the four letter network! Kinda miss it to be honest... not during this time of year though.

What I saw, and what the box score confirmed, is that South Carolina received a home court favor from the ref's.
SC shot 26 FT and made 18. They were called for 16 PF vs. Texas being called for 22 PF. They made the most of their 13 FT by making 12.
There was no way Texas was going to win at that venue tonight.

This loss is a lot easier for this Longhorn fan to take than the one on Sunday at LSU. All out battle between two very good teams. Congrats to South Carolina and its fans.
It was nip and tuck; you guys have a great team and we may play once or twice more this season.

You do realize that there will never be an equal number of fouls or free throws in any game. The team on the short end regardless of the truth will claim the refs were biased. Welcome to the world of "thinking rational". Geez...

Agot Makeer's ability to adjust to the college game continues to impress me. Her style of play really fits what Coach Staley wants to do. She's getting a lot of opportunities to be a ball handler, which I didn't expect and she seems to be handling it well for a freshman.

Thanks for the welcome, Jumpstart, but I've been a resident of the rational world for quite a long while.
Fortunately, for all of us, the box score and venue provide all the rationale we need to reach our conclusions for this outcome decided by three points.
Geez. Perhaps you should stick to "Welcome to Walmart".

Not that rankings are end all/be all, but I hope Texas stays #4. Texas losing two close games at South Carolina and LSU back to back shouldn't push them down in the rankings IMO when they already have wins over UCLA, South Carolina, Baylor and Ole Miss.

Reminds me a bit of when Saniya Rivers played for South Carolina, though Makeer's jumpshot looks far smoother. If Tournebize is added to the rotation, this might be one of the longest and most athletic rosters Dawn has ever had.

I thought the officials actually missed a few texas foul calls, while calling a few "touch fouls" on SC. The game, overall, was fairly called. Any examples of missed SC foul calls that you can name? Honestly curious.

I was thinking the same theing. She is a Rivers with a more reliable shot.
