I have buddies that live in Fairfield/Norwark and have had season tix since the Rent opened.
I'm not traveling in from Nola for the game. Car not in shape for 1,200 mile trip and don't fly 'cause don't like TSA fondling my family jewels. Don't care if a random someone whines about me not willing to go all out for the home opener. Not an attendance debate. I couldn't care much less if a random someone doesn't want to go to the game, but most ticket holders have jobs. There are many ways to fit both in, even if one is on second shift. If the work day is over at 5:00, it's an excuse, not a reason. Traveling from Fairfield County is a whiny excuse cloaked as a humble brag.

Congratulations, but (with credit to @John ), "The point is now cruising comfortably at 35,000 feet over your head - you may unbuckle your seat belts and move about the cabin."I'm not traveling in from Nola for the game. If that's tickets sold (not distributed) then that's pretty impressive.
May have added the capacity of student sectionOn Monday, @huskymedic posted 16,000 distributed according to the RepAm. My guess is they are using the terms interchangeably. Still there has to be a reason for them to increase the distribution by 4K in a half a week's time.
