any ticket sale figures released yet? I'm wondering if we'll make it to 30k

AT this point, who cares? Aside from you. Maybe others, but let's show up, show as best we can and hope the team comes out ready to compete. Whether fans show or not, it is what it is. Knowing a # a day prior won't change anything.

We're going to need to sell almost 3k more seats to match our total against freakin' Nova from last season. Somehow our attendance keeps getting worse

Sometimes I feel like the rent gets louder with lower attendance. The diehards don't quit. It's pretty sad, but it is what it is at this point.

Fuller: UConn searching for cure to offensive struggles (and Five Things To Watch).

>>“When you don’t produce like you’d like, you become introspective and scrub every little thing on all aspects of the offense,” Verducci said. “We feel like we found some answers and we look forward to getting back on the field again.”

Verducci is putting pressure on himself to put together an offensive game plan that will chew up yards, time and most importantly put points on the scoreboard. Diaco was more outspoken about the offensive issues during Tuesday’s press conference than perhaps at any other point since his arrival.

Diaco made it clear that he was unhappy to see dynamic tailback Arkeel Newsome get the ball only six times in the loss to Houston. He also mentioned the lack of opportunities for sophomore receivers Aaron McLean and Tyraiq Beals. If he is saying such things to the media, it’s a safe assumption that Verducci and his offensive staff have been hearing it from their boss behind closed doors as well.<<

>>“We need to get the drives started in a better way,” Diaco said. “A lot of it is tactical, being sure that we are doing things that suit our players, that suit our personnel. We are taking great accountability of where we are at and getting not only a mindset but also play selection so we can have more productive first downs and be sure that the third downs are makeable third downs.”<<
