SMU was so close to salting away their first win of the season, but we knew it wouldn't be that easy. Instead, the quarterback runs into his own blocker and fumbles. You can't even make this stuff up. I'll give you even odds UConn returns the favor

I was a proponent for seeing more of Boyle, but he just can't hit the side of a barn. May have a strong arm but geez he can't hit a guy from 10 yards away. Another offseason I just don't think is going to make any difference.

This team has regressed. Played their best games against Boise and UCF. Right now they can't get out of their own way. Its sad to watch, but Diaco coaches like he has no faith in the offense and eventually the defense caves in.

Bad weather conditions dooming a bad football team today folks...fumbles, horrible tackling....i still hope we can pull this out but we reslly don't deserve to win today...i feel for all the players on this squad. They underwent a complete overhaul, undermanned and coaches are simply doing an evaluation job this year. They could care less if we win this game or not.
One things for sure, this situation won't fly next season. None of this evaluating bulls@&t during the season while forfeiting regular season wins.

No offense but calling this or using this as an "evaluation year" is unacceptable too. You need to win games. There's no excuse for losing, especially to a team that's trying to give you the game and is 0-11. NO EXCUSE. This is an absolute sham and anyone who is ok with this should be ashamed. Not one person involved with UConn athletics should be ok with what has transpired this year. If this continues 4 games into next season they're better be serious consideration of canning Diaco. I'm so disgusted right now.
