We had a 14 pt halftime lead on a winless SMU team at home. What a sorry football team we have become.

It's got to be just bad luck that every team uconn has played seems to have a player that has a career day.

.-.
Never mind that, they should hand out season tickets for 2015 to any fans leaving at the end of the 4th quarter. No I am not kidding. Oh and fc uk Pittsburgh.

Why do you want to punish those fans further?

And are you jealous of Pittsburgh consistently being named a top place to live by major media?

This is the worst team I've ever seen. I think the silver bullets team would beat them.

.-.
Its kind of like in baseball when you have a hitter approaching a record and you don't want to be that pitcher that gives up the record

SMU hasn't won a game in 365 days.....we're going to be that pitcher

The best part is he has mentioned him about 25 times.

The best part is that he was ruled out on Tuesday. These guys have been doing SMU games all season. Bonus that John Hicks will achieve legendary status over the off season.

I do hope pretty boy realizes we are now losing. Put Whitmer in.

This game makes me yearn for the days we used to lose on holding calls in the endzone and 80 yd hail mary's.

If you don't think this is set up for a Whitmer to lead a last minute drive only to end in a game ending turnover, then you just aren't a UConn fan.

nothing would sum up this season better than a fumble at the half yard line by CW. And then Palatine saying that he lost the game by himself.

This game just makes me very sad. When I hear Diaco's sunshine and lollipops/throw players under the bus/coaches bear no responsibility press conference, I am going to get angry.

If you want something to cheer for, UConn women take on ND in 15 min.

You have to be kidding me.

SMU is 0-11 and widely regarded as the worst team in FBS.

We are about to lose to them. At home.

have we improved in any aspect of football this year?

I don't know which of the following is lower. The amount of faith in the program by the fans, or the amount of buy-in by the players. I think we are the optimists.

I'm officially retiring from the bandwagon until they manage to at least look like a competent football team on a consistent basis. Apparently, that's expecting way too much with this program. Not getting my hopes up for next season. For now, I'd rather watch TCU continue to blowout Iowa State.

Every game this team makes me wonder more and more if this was really worth losing our spot in the Big East for basketball. I'm usually a stout football supporter and it's my primary sport but with the Memphis rumor yesterday and the reality that we may become the worst team in FBS football this year, it just makes me wonder if it was worth it anymore
