A couple of thoughts. Cochran is by far the best quarterback and DeLorenzo should get more caries. T J Weist should get consideration as the Head Coach since he has taken a team that was DOA and DOD (Dead on Departure) and made them competitive. They do need a pass rush though, Chas Dodd can throw.

Great defensive stop. Thought Rutgers had more talent at wr then what they're are showing
 
I didn't mean to say that Weiss should stay, only that he should get consideration. He is a good coach, but I don't know if he can recruit. Now is time for the dogs to establish the running game. Nothing to the side, just up the gut.
 
How many times can the secondary get beat? What a terrible unit.

I just turned it on, was happy to see UConn up by 4 and the first play is an RU bomb for a TD. I'll turn it off now. Sorry all.
 
Does UConn have any short passing plays whatsoever? Cochran is getting all day, but the WRs are 20 yards downfield.

And as I speak, short pass to Foxx all the way downfield.
 
Should have been a face mask also on the long catch and run.
 
We have proven all day we can't defend the pass on 2nd,3rd or 4th and long, while rushing the 4 down lineman. why in the world don't we blitz. Worse case is they complete a pass they're going to complete anyway.
 
Why is Max not in on every down?!? I can't stand McCombs

In defense of the secondary, Rutgers has big, strong receivers that the defense can't really practice against. I wish Nova was in.
 
Delorenzo needs to be in there every play. I appreciate what Lyle has done for us but Max is just a flat out better back.

. That one was a bad call but it seems we give it up the third and long consistently.
 
I don't think he caught it but I can't see that he didn't. Should stand imo.
 
He intercepted that, but the juggling coming up is going to allow the booth to rule incomplete.

Yes they are, but they're also running running wide open. It's not like we are losing 50-50 balls.

The announcers don't seem to know the rules. The ball can touch the ground as long as your hands are underneath it. And the ball is controlled.
