Btw, Rebecca throwing some shade on Tenn during that interview with MM.

"How many orange items of clothing do you have."
"None."
"Of course, why would you?"
No, the orange jackets are what HOF-ers receive, men and women, football and basketball.

Crystal & KLS had the best performances. The rest not so great.

The trainer wanted KLS to play 20 minutes. She's done that.

UConn needs to rebound, get some movement offensively, and quit missing layups, for starters.

UConn has not been a great rebounding team so far this year, and it’s showing today

I believe that they lack height and strength and JordyG is correct, UConn rebounding in this game is beyond bad.

So ND loses 2 of their best players and has several others injured, we return the entire team besides Chong and add Stevens and Walker and they are 7 points better in Hartford at the half.

Let's face it folks, the people raising concerns about our team the first 6 games were right. Something is off.

Collier kinda disappeared after getting off to a strong start.

ND only 2 TO's, UConn has 6. The Huskies have been making a living off of getting steals and fast breaks all year, not happening today. ND flipped the script on them a bit.

In addition to ND's easy baskets on their pick and roll plays, the important stats in the first half are Rebounding and TO's

Rebounds ND 23 UConn 15 Notre Dame with 11 Offensive Rebounds to only 4 for UConn. How many 2nd chance did ND score?
Turn Overs ND 2 UConn 6. Not a significant difference. Actually a low number for both teams.

After that 3, she may play 20 more. Very critical in what we do. She looked pissed. I think she will have a good 2nd half. Still ND knows how to play basketball. Coming down to the end.

How do you get mixed up on a screen and leave KLS open for 3?

Guess ND wanted to give. Muffet something to talk about at halftime.

ND playing hard and playing like they have nothing to lose.

I couldn't believe some of the comments by Geno leading up to this game. He made it sound like we had no shot without KLS. I guess he was right, but how did it get to this point?

Exact same thing that happened in last year's Final Four. ND has 41 field goal attempts to a mere 30 for UConn. Rebounding is killing this team!

Adamec seems to think that's Aliyah Boston behind the bench too:

It seems UConn got caught on every bad switch and when they missed when overplaying the lanes. Defensively Geno will attempt to clear this up during the half. On offense they missed some bunnies, but their offensive rebounding was a horror (as was their defensive rebounding). ND is pushing the perimeter and UConn needs to move the ball better, cut harder and not depend just on KLS's mismatches in the lane or Collier pinning on the block every time down. KLS and Kia need to flash the post and UConn needs to push the ball up the floor better and play with more pace in the half court. Crystal also needs to make those guards work harder when she has the ball, and make them pay for their mistakes by scoring just a bit more.

For some reason UConn’s trade mark hustle and diving after loose balls seems a little lacking with this team. They are getting out worked, which is unusual for UConn. Well this game should make all the pundits happy who say UConn winning all the time is bad for WBB.

Love her patience on that last play where she waited and then fed Z at the perfect moment rather than just throwing it back to the top
That was a thing of beauty!

After his trip to San Antonio two years ago Geno decided not to play with a traditional big and go with speed and athleticism. It works most of the time
