Nice move by Kiah! She gets fouled. She didn't do that last season.
 
Stanford's offense looks more like UConn's motion. Tara is a good coach who can adjust to what she has.
 
Kia Nurse!! Wow. I think that we can live with Stanford shooting 3 pointers 5 feet from the 3pt line.
 
This is a good game for UConn early in the season. Not getting the super open looks that they got last game, so they have to run through their offense and make the extra pass. And defensively Stanford is hitting from outside, so they will have to adjust to that.

The game plan is obvious. Beat up on Stewie, and shoot 3s and take your chances with everyone else. It probably is their only hope given the lack of a real solid post presence and a whole new offense.

Face guarding KML too.
 
Wish Tuck would play closer to the basket. When she was regularly playing in prior year, she got so many points on put backs. Won't happen if she's shooting 3's. KML needs to get going. Think Stanford is doing a good job on Stewie and KML
 
Wow. Crappy call. The Stanford player just threw it up all wildly and they call a foul on Nurse?
 
Reminds me of Louisville's strategy in 2010: don't let Maya, Tina, or Kelly shoot and take your chances with the others. They didn't count on Kalana or Tiffany.
