This is a good game for UConn early in the season. Not getting the super open looks that they got last game, so they have to run through their offense and make the extra pass. And defensively Stanford is hitting from outside, so they will have to adjust to that.

The game plan is obvious. Beat up on Stewie, and shoot 3s and take your chances with everyone else. It probably is their only hope given the lack of a real solid post presence and a whole new offense.

Wish Tuck would play closer to the basket. When she was regularly playing in prior year, she got so many points on put backs. Won't happen if she's shooting 3's. KML needs to get going. Think Stanford is doing a good job on Stewie and KML

Reminds me of Louisville's strategy in 2010: don't let Maya, Tina, or Kelly shoot and take your chances with the others. They didn't count on Kalana or Tiffany.

Can't believe how Stanford is getting home cooking under their baskets. At least two foul calls on UConn that were questionable. Looks like the freshmen are going to get plenty of playing time tonight and not because its a blow out.
