Wow, this is a boring game.
 
UConnsleepwalking in this game and missing just about everything they launch.

Defense is playing okay, but Charleston is over matched.

Subs are as bored as the starters. Geno will not be happy at the half nor CD.
 
And here's a thought: What in the world is a young C of C team learning from this demonstration?
 
I'll ask again: What has happened to Dolson, and I do not mean tonight? Obviously Geno wasn't happy and replaced her with Stokes, but that's right now. I mean in general. Where's the kid who was on fire last year? After a loss, where's the kid who came out with new resolve and was better than ever? Anyone else wondering what's happening here? I've been a huge fan, but this is several games in a row when her game is a fraction of what it was last year.

The early games Steff played well, it just seems the last three weeks that she's been lost

Exactly. Makes you wonder if there's something going on in her life. Whatever it is, she is not playing anywhere near her potential. Things were better the second round, but basically, that she has to score by going outside for jump shots is embarrassing.
 
Banks is earning more bench time in bigger games. Disappointed with her recent play.

my dad read about how great Dolson and Hartley were over the summer. playing for Team USA and all that they accomplished. He said Hartley is much improved from last year and is about what he expected based on the accolades they both received over the summer.

Dolson, on the other hand, he's been thoroughly stunned. sure she's had her moments, but over all, he said "this can not be the same kid everyone was talking about over the summer"...

CofC going for a tie for the lowest points scored UCONN has allowed in a half.
 
Last play is exactly the point. Dolson's fundamentals seem shot. She went to put the ball up and turned a potential strong move into a weak one. It's like she's forgotten a lot of what she learned last year.
 
hey for those of you still watching the game, PLEASE tell us what Chris Dailey says after halftime. this has to be considered a worse performance than their low point vs. FDU earlier this year...
