Uconn defenders were confused even before the flea flicker. They were yelling to each other. Lots of guys out if position.

that gotta admit that was a great call as much as that hurts

.-.
We're outgunned on the field and on the sideline.

No reason for Whitmer to take that sack.

He's getting gun shy.

This feels like the Michigan game last year at least we were still in that game in the 4th quarter

.-.
Whitmer had a choice of running 15 yards forward to the sidelines or 15 yards up the middle. So he slides for no further gain.

Maybe it's unexpected, maybe not given Boise's defensive rep and our lack of RB production vs Stony Brook, but UConn being unable to run at all is hurting us. Field position would have helped out the defense.

.-.
It seems as soon as someone is within 3 feet of Whitmer he drops to the ground.

Only this group could turn a 10-7 lead into a 21-10 deficit in the span of 7 minutes.

They just don't play this sport in anything resembling a smart manner.

Invisible plays. Not fielding a punt and losing 20 yards of field position. Then shanking our punt.

A 40 yd field position swing.

But the up side is that 10 points is an offensive explosion for a Whitmer led team.

We are not a team that can afford the fumbles, missed receivers and field position errors we are making. I got chastised here for claiming this OL had no talent and was 1AA caliber. Was told, "they haven't been coached up"...well, they are terrible right now.

Bad news. Both BCU kickers raining 55+ yard field goals without breaking a sweat at the half.

Three step drops and slants.

This team can't sustain 5-step drops on the passing game.
