It was great that they won, and the 5 minute stretch at the end was encouraging. But the reality is that they got outplayed, AT HOME, by Stonybrook for 35 minutes. That is just plain ugly.
It is also great that they are 2-0 versus 0-2 but that is against teams that finished 220 and 270 in the Sagarin's last year compared to 159 and 245 for the teams we lost to last year. So there may be some improvement over last year's start but it may not be as big as one would guess simply by looking at the records.
Hopefully it gets better from here because, as of right now, it is very much a mixed bag.
