What’s in a Name? It’s UConn, not UCONN - UConn Today
It's not an acronym. What would the two Ns stand for? The O? This shouldn't be so hard

How can they write an article about paying attention to details and then include this?!What’s in a Name? It’s UConn, not UCONN - UConn Today

This is the weirdest, dumbest thing that for some reason a faction of the fanbase gets hugely worked up about. What’s in a Name? It’s UConn, not UCONN - UConn Today

It's interesting that on this site sometimes when I type UConn it autocorrects to Uconn. I'm always like WTF on a UConn fan board they do this?UConn or UCONN, whatever.
Uconn - unforgivable.
Not sure what you're trying to say, but the article addresses this at length.
Looks better in caps.
Yes, that is the "logo".
That's funny! I was just going to say I like UConn better, in print. But I was just up in Storrs yesterday and the big sign that greets you would look funny with small letters.Looks better in caps.

That would be awesomePerhaps if there was a much smaller Tom Emery to handle the onn, it would satisfy the spelling/grammar police.
That is a logo. UConn is the appropriate spelling in prose. BTW, the Washington Post used to be my client. They are idiots. They said the AP Style Guide dictates U-Conn. If the school wants it changed, talk to the AP.
