There were 2 upsets today in the men's games. There will be upsets in the women's games too. 15 seed Princeton upset #2 seed Arizona, and #13 Furman knocks off #4 Virgina. St. John's women advance to the field of 64 with a last-second buzzer beater by Jayla Everett over Perdue.

March madness for the women starts in earnest tomorrow. Get your popcorn ready and buckle your seatbelts. This is going to be a fun weekend. I wonder what two teams will be involved in the first MAJOR upset of the tournament? :eek:

Of all the men's brackets submitted to Yahoo in the country and beyond, there are only 23 perfect brackets left today after the upsets yesterday of all the millions sent in. Kudos to Jay Wright who called the Furman game.

Other then that OT game, there has been a decided lack of drama so far. Not much in the way of close games and not much in the way of upsets. #10 Georgia over #7 Florida St. is hardly a surprise given Latson's injury.

Jose had some fun teams, a gentleman in the old tradition, with a fire to win, and his player got it. Great games.

I thought that Creighton would be OK with 6' 5" Jessica Carter because of their
experience with DORKA 6'5". problem was that other Miss. State Player and
that Morgan Maly of Creighton had her second poor shooting game in a row.
A hard one for the Bluejays!

Wow. Purdue gone. Big bracket buster on men's . One of the best game so far today. Jackrabbit vs usc.
 
South Dakota State scored more in the OT than either they or USC scored in any of the 4 regulation-time periods!
