We played them twice when they were at full strength and motivated, and they got favorable seeding over us despite us having a stronger overall resume.

Because the Big East has regressed to what it was at the beginning of the season and some teams just their pants when the brightest lights go on.

The conference showed what it was OOC, but then when conference play started, the refs allowed all kinds of mugging, which mucked up the game. This is a reversion to reality.
