Because the Big East has regressed to what it was at the beginning of the season and some teams just their pants when the brightest lights go on.

Well the first game was DePaul and they almost lost that, it's hard to believe they blew out Creighton the way they did.

The conference showed what it was OOC, but then when conference play started, the refs allowed all kinds of mugging, which mucked up the game. This is a reversion to reality.
