Ummmm I'd wait for something better.
Lolol. SheeeeesFordham is where careers go to die. Not a single head coach from Fordham in the past 40 years has gone to have a successful P6 career. He will get a P6 job, he's not taking over that black hole of a program
You forgot Vitaglia.Reese, Thorpe, Coolidge, Salami, Jackson, Hayward, Gomez and Goldstein played in a better & more modern facility.
not since Digger PhelpsFordham is where careers go to die. Not a single head coach from Fordham in the past 40 years has gone to have a successful P6 career. He will get a P6 job, he's not taking over that black hole of a program
I don't see James Jones going anywhere, but I'd bet it's between Maciariello and Grasso. Both guys have helped make their respective teams exciting destinations for talent within the NEC and MAAC.
Interestingly, Grasso coached Fordham in the 09-10 season when he was just 29 years old.
Fordham, where coaches go to have their careers die!Add in the fact that he came to us because he wanted to be closer to home. I hate to say it but the job makes a lot of sense.

Lavin has a cushy job right now that might pay more than Fordham is going to pay. Can't see how he'd be interested.Other names being thrown around are Shaheen Holloway who deserves a shot and Steve Lavin who maybe doesn't.
Kimani would make a lot of sense.
Obvious ties to NYC and there are no expectations. Wouldn't be surprised to see his name get brought up.
I like Fordham's location better than St. John's. Arthur Avenue and the subwsy to Manhattan are right there.Great school--love the Jesuits.
Dismayed because of location, price tag, or both?
Not exactly true, Penders had a fine career at Texas, but I think Fordham has a problem a bit like DePaul in that it is really over it’s head in the A10. They are running a program on a Patriot League level trying to compete in the A10. Put them in the MAAC or back in the Patriot and they’d be fine.Fordham is where careers go to die. Because we want him to succeed. It's like wishing Bouk the best when we tell him to go get drafted.Isn’t this like telling our girlfriend there is another great guy out there for her? Why are we doing this right now? Shouldn’t this be under players transfer speculation?

That was a favorite show of mine in my youth. I heard on the Dan Patrick show that Jay Bilas was once on the show. Bilas is one Dukie that I can stand. Here is the link.
Out of all the candidates I've seen on this thread, Holloway is the best fit to me.Shaheen H might bring some enthusiasm and talent to Fordham. I could see that

If Kimani stays and we make some noise in the NCAA tourney he will have much better opportunities moving forward. It would be an interesting job to potentially take. It's a school in a fertile recruiting region in one of the top mid-major conferences.
Other than St Joe’s it has been some time since the others were much. Fordham is really the answers to which doesn’t belong. La Salle was really something...in 1954 and 55. Not sure GW was ever anything.I wish Neptune nothing but well wishes with his new job.
It's a tall task, but even if he is able to make Fordham a 5-9 team in conference play by his third season, that's a win for him.
Between Fordham, St. Joseph's, La Salle and GW, lots of rebuilding happening within the big city schools of the A-10.
This is what basketball means to Fordham. I'd run away if I were Kyle Neptune! 😂
