Administrators across the country destroyed college athletics, anyway. Just because they had to charge crazy prices or get huge TV contracts and then cash in. Soon, elite college athletes will be paid more than most of their fans.

what are they feeding the men's basketball team?
The price of the base ingredient for jalapeño mac and cheese keeps rising.

Looking at spreadsheet.

Recruiting budget and food costs for men’s hoops are fat. 500k for men’s hoop and 500k for football? think about that. Hoops recruits 3 players. FB Brings in 25.

does the food budget get $2.5 million. What?

Donations from football is odd. Wonder how the foundation donations make their way to the actual balance sheet of the AD Dept.

Looking at the major revenue teams, I think they can get $10 mil out of there. No idea how you rectify leaving the aac exit fee and big East entry.

eventually I think the school can get it to the 20-25 million range.

Good thing women's soccer ticket sales are strong. Would like to see women's volleyball stats, quite a few kids to send around the AAC in 2019-20.

This whole thing is a farce. Athletic Aid means scholarships. If they factor that actual incremental cost of the scholarships it would be nil. The room and board would be at cost. The model works on a bad principle, loss of the retail value of revenue from a student out of state. There is also imputed facility rent when the cost is sunk and is a general obligation “owed” to the state. The only thing that is truly a football heavy expense is there are more coaches. But, if you spread the 80 scholarships across the extra staff, it comes back in line. In reality, football is the best thing possible for woman and title IX.
