This whole thing is a farce. Athletic Aid means scholarships. If they factor that actual incremental cost of the scholarships it would be nil. The room and board would be at cost. The model works on a bad principle, loss of the retail value of revenue from a student out of state. There is also imputed facility rent when the cost is sunk and is a general obligation “owed” to the state. The only thing that is truly a football heavy expense is there are more coaches. But, if you spread the 80 scholarships across the extra staff, it comes back in line. In reality, football is the best thing possible for woman and title IX.
