Mostly congratulations on the step up.What are they saying on the Cuse board, are there tears to drink?
Pace was OL this past season. Peterson was TEs. But the sentiment stands.I wouldn't be mad if Candle keeps Wilcox as RB coach. He seems to be a keeper. Same for TE coach Christian Pace...
Should also be an interesting week coming for all the defensive coaching hires. Need an impact DC
The way things are going, we get the news around New Year's Day, out of the blue. Hoping we get the news before then though. Gotta get going with recruiting defendersDC rumors?
Guys who can resonate with the boys on the field! So we’ve hired two young up and coming coaches from Pitt and Cuse to be our coordinators. Nice!
It seems like a good hire but I agree it’s odd that PITT didn’t promote him to DC.Manalac had a great mentor in Randy Bates, who retired today after 40 years of coaching college ball. Pitt's LB corps is the most improved group on the team over the past four years. Wife says he's well thought of @Pitt and should be very good hire for UConn. Somewhat surprised he wasn't chosen to be Pitt's new DC.
Seems we've got the best jobs in the ACC these days.
Apparently the guy who's the safeties coach is currently the associate head coach, so guessing he got the gig.It seems like a good hire but I agree it’s odd that PITT didn’t promote him to DC.
Manalac helped land recruits like Louis, Biles, Braylan Lovelace, Jeremiah Marcelin, Francis Brewu and was paramount in securing a top linebacking class with Isaiah Simmons, Marcus Jennings, Joshua Pittman and Desmond Johnson.Manalac - Ohio native, Cincinnati undergrad, OH Dominion; PA Pitt & Bucknell experience ==>!possible recruiting areas, OH, PA, DMV & New England (latter potentially leveraging fair amount of prior Bucknell prep recruiting).

Close enough to still be awesome.I may be alone, but when I first read the announcement I thought it had his last name as Maniac. I got very excited.
