It was a fun game but that was a gross last few minutes.

I don’t know why people keep talking about UConn last year vs these two teams. What is the relevance?? They both would have killed our 2014 team. So what??

THIS year we lost to FL…..that is all that matters

What an awful way to lose the game. So he threw the ball down because he was going to get blocked. Are we sure he couldn't have picked it up again and it would be considered a dribble, or was it considered a pass?

So close to beating Florida. People would really hate UConn had we done the threepeat but it's clear that only 1 team can say it was better than Florida this year.
 
Can't believe they didn't run more action into the post. Florida was overwhelming the perimeter screens.

After this I don’t know if Sampson will ever break through. The look on his face the last few possessions tell the story of a man who could see his dream forming and then falling apart before his very eyes within minutes. He’s a good coach but tonight he choked.

Like I said before, I knew I would hate to see one of these teams lose. I feel bad for Houston and Coach Sampson no matter how overly sentimental I sound.

Yeah it was actually kind of sad to watch..,,,and he looked really old
 
They shut off Cryer and Houston really had nobody else who was consistently good offensively. They needed to get a shot off earlier even if a miss as they could swarm the boards for a basket.
 
Sampson is a great defensive coach, but lacks imagination and ability to draw up set plays. Gotta put some of the blame on the Houston players who just couldn't create good shots or make winning plays. And credit to the Florida players for stepping up their D.

Ugly let down ending.

4 straight turnovers to end the game- not one shot at the basket in 4 straight possessions- poor execution- give Florida credit for hanging in there while their best player got checked the entire game- great Defense by Florida for the last 10 minutes of the game- suffocating. Congratulations to the Gator Nation!
 
Lamest final possession ever! Really surprised Cryer wasn’t even trying to look for a shot

Congrats to Florida, it wasn’t a pretty game but they got it done

Yeah that was head scratcher. It isn’t that they didn’t run the play the wanted… There appeared to be no play…
