Missed the whole thing. Went to see Hamilton and had a great dinner beforehand.

Hope to catch a replay. I could not believe the rushing stats when I saw them at intermission. Two guys 150+yds. Don't recall that ever happening.

Also, I guess I'm in the .0001% of people who weren't gaga over Hamilton.

Hamilton…seriously? At least I went to a family wedding. Geez. Just kidding. Glad you had a good time.

I'm piss drunk. Got dropped off at home 45 moniutes ago and have been in my garage closet for 43 of them. Not sure why but not bored either. I'm pretty sure traffic will pick up soon
Thank you for your support. Get home safe.

@Bomber36 my friend, that post wasn't directed at you in the least. Congratulations my friend.

Attendance was thin tonight and a lot folks were out by the end of the 3rd Q. I wish people would hang in and give the kids their due. I’m hoping with a couple of Ws we see more showing up.

Yeah it's a bummer. I asked my old group about going next week and everybody else made other plans. I feel like a lot of folks have simply given up on the program :(

My hope is that if they can string a few wins together people will show up but idk. The culture of losing was brutal.

Couldn’t go today, will be there next week. Hope more can do that!

Firsthand observations from the Rent:

OL was dominant all night. 422 rushing yards is a UConn FBS-era record. Evers and the RBs were feasting on it from start to finish. Because of that, we didn't have to pass much, and that played right into Evers' hands since his strength is running on the rollouts.

Defense was outstanding, especially in the 1st half while the game was getting established and they were forcing 3 & outs.

Good to see Freeman make a couple FGs to boost his confidence.

The crowd that was there tonight was good, including the student section. We had a lot to cheer about. Was disappointed though to see the place look less than half full. Would expect to see more people there next week coming off this win. Team looks like they've found themselves and are improving - they'll need the fans to feed off of during this long upcoming home stretch.

In all, it was great to see UConn look so dominant against a competent FBS opponent. I don't think we've had a win that decisive against an FBS school since we beat a horrible UCF team 40-13 in 2015.

On to Buffalo!!

does anyone have a link to the game? I was at the huskies football game....

but the wrong Huskies. UW.

Apparently you are not alone!

I didn't get to see the game but the score surprised me. Could've should've beat Duke and rolled FIU. Encouraging and clearly an improvement.

Great game for me. I had plans to go to Duke game but was sick so swapped airline tickets for FAU game. I was very pleased with my decision.

Game was great except for lost fumble and unsportsmanlike penalties. I sat with a grammar school buddy who I hadn’t seen in 25 years which was nice as well.

My only complaints are the lack of fans and the piss poor sound system. It is hard to hear what the penalties were. I had to look at ESPN game log. I suggest that they display the text of called penalties until they fix sound system.

This was first home game for.me since UMass a few years ago and I am happy I made the trip. Low anxiety game to watch. I just wish that fans including the students would stay until fourth quarter. All and all a great trip. I even managed to eat a few dogs from Blackies.

The most enjoyable game to watch in at least a dozen years. Play like that in the final eight games and a bowl is guaranteed.

And my other school, SMU, blew out cross-town rival TCU. What a day!

I was there with the fam and had a great time. If anybody caught the halftime show, my daughter was dancing in it. I was in such a good mood that I was letting my kids get anything they wanted from concessions! Ted’s Steamed burgers, Chicken tenders, mac & cheese, chocolate chips cookies, hot cocoa, whatever you want kids, UConn is kicking @ss and we're not leaving till the clock says 0:00!
