Final 4 thread

He freaking leaned into him, got a forearm in his throat and took him to the ground.

He was fouled 3 times on that one move by Winston

I know it was a foul. No question. Plain and simple. My point was Moretti made sure it looked that way too. That's what you do.

It was a pretty innocuous observation.

Texas Tech is really good. Hope that guy didn’t sell his 300k bet.

Fans in seats facing main camera never cheer, get out of their seats, show all the emotion of someone waiting for a root canal.

I think Tech has 1 top 100 recruit. Edit. Forgot about the transfer Francis. Amazing that they will have back to back lottery picks from kids ranked 190 and 310.

and another year passes (what's that, like 20 now?) where the national champion is not from the big 10, but okay, let's give 1/2 dozen or so of 2020 bids to them. gross. they're always 'ugly' teams. ttech is oh, so pretty.

Chris Beard in line for a nice fat raise.

Yet somehow they have multiple 6’10+ 225+ rebounding, shot blocking athletic monsters inside. We need to figure out their formula.

Izzo has one of the more fascinating legacies.

Eight final fours in this era is remarkable, but I kinda feel like you need more than one title to earn the reputation Izzo currently occupies.

Playing in big domes makes these games tough, unless you are Nova

Do they though? Their strength is clearly their guards and then they have a string bean shot blocker. This is what I want for a center. I don't even care about scoring. Super athletic shot blocker so we can play pressure D.

Which basically makes him the Bobby Cox of the NCAA.

Texas Tech has gone through 4 of the final AP Top 15 teams already in the tourney, including 3 of the top 8.
Unbelievable run.

I had to look it up you’re right one 6’10 205 power forward and a 6’9 250 pound center.

Last two AP coach of the year winners in this one. And I think the two best defensive teams as well.
*odd note. Calhoun only won the AP once and the Naismith never. Boehiem in 2010?
