You call it every time, it's a clear foul on a jump shooter. If you don't call fouls on jump shooters you don't have basketball.Strongly disagree.
You call that 1.5 seconds into a game, you call it with 1.5 left

Gifted the title game, clear double dribble on Jerome.
the foul call at the end was the right call. Credit Guy for hitting 3 foul shots at the end-that's clutch foul shooting. Harper on Auburn making 17 FTs in a row meant nothing after missing the 2nd free throw that could have put them up by 3 instead of just 2. Like Donyell in 94 who made 20 FTs in a game but then missed the 2 FTs against Florida in Sweet 16. I don't care what your shooting % is or what FT records you have-let's see how you shoot under pressure in a close game.
A foul on a jump shooter should be called every single time? Think about what you're saying.Exactly. An airborne shooter is as sacred as mothers and puppies.
You just don’t mess with them

hard to say, SuperJohn. I mean remember Gardner Webb being up 14 against these guys. Virginia looked terrified at that point and had flashbacks to the UMBC game. And then Purdue should've finished them off, too.Has a team ever played crappier throughout a tournament to make the title game?
yup. Gene Steratore, the former head of officiating, said so, too.The double dribble on UVA should have been called. Right in front of a ref

Blame the refs for giving UVA the game with the clear double dribble.
exactly. The foul call on the shot was 100% correct.
The no-call on the double dribble right before that was horrendous officiating...
I saw that and I never thought it was a double dribble until the replay was shown. Its amazing in the flow of a close game and at the end, how something so clear gets missed.Gifted the title game, clear double dribble on Jerome.
