Who is the second best team in this event?

Per the official website, the scores from the first two days show team Canada as the only other Team to not lose yet. Argentina has won its last two games.

Well, we are trailing 6-2 early. Hmmm.

Last night, I hit my post limit. Tonight, I may just edit this post. And edit it again.

8-4 PR. Liv just came in and got an OR and was fouled on the putback. She ran hard down the floor.

PR leads 12-11. CW hasn't seen the floor yet.

PR player was open on the baseline and calling for the ball, but her teammate couldn't pass the ball over Liv. At the other end, Liv posts up and scores.

Liv with a nice deflection at midcourt.

Liv posts up and has the shot spin out.

Jenna Brown with 2 straight steals and lay-ups. USA with a small lead.

USA on a nice run off the press leads 33-18 after 1Q. Smith is aggressive and has 14 points. No PT at all for Christyn.

let's keep track of how the teams fares once CW is on the court....if she ever does that is.
Hurt or in the doghouse??

CW is at the end of the bench in a bright red USA T-shirt. A new form of red shirting. ;)

Nice pass out of the post from Liv to a cutting teammate for a bucket.

Oops. Liv was backpedaling as PR was pushing the pace. She tried to turn and wound up sliding across half court on her butt.

Liv just missed 2 more FTs.

50-33 at the half

Sitting at end of bench with t shirt still on is never a good sign.

my only wishes before this tournament started were that everybody played well and most importantly came home unhurt...............

This is a very sloppy first half. If they play like this against Canada they will lose.

I'm going to be Mr Positive and assume it's only a day to day sprain/strain.............if she's really hurt that could become a serious issue for next season...........ONO better just take it easy out there

The "fly-swat" technique is money in the bank.............for the other team. A foul ever time. :(

Why assume that CW is hurt? Maybe it’s just “one of those days”. Just watch the game and the young ladies that are playing. We will find out what the deal is sooner or later. Just keep positive thoughts!

Hurt or not, CW's body language is not going to fly in Storrs. She probably get texted or called on it by a certain female Hall of Fame staff member.

Maybe she caught a virus or is not feeling well?

They are playing a lot of games back to back to back etc. and giving every player a night off to rest muscles is smart coaching.

Not a good half for USA Poor fowl shooting, ball handling, Picks Sloppy seems accurate

Playing just to play and letting them play badly is in no way smart coaching.

Coaching. All that talent and its "I'm gonna get mine ball"
He can coach? I thought he just puts them on the floor and says play basketball.

No games tomorrow. If she has a mild sprain, two days rest may help. If not, let her sit and lead the cheers.
