They look horrific to me. But I'm just a former girls HS coach. What do I know?

As soon as this tournament is over, I'm having open tryouts to pick a new team. Tryout will be at Los Oso Gym in Rancho Cucamonga California. Date pending. Team will be coached B. Crichlow.

Prince down and she reached for her left knee. Sucks.

.-.
Prince goes down in a heap after trying to block a shot on a breakaway. She clutched at her knee. I fear the worst.

It happened when she landed. It may be an acl or a fracture of her tibia.
It's not good in either case.

The way the lower leg bent the leg is broken.

No C Will in the second half either.
More of the walking wounded ?

OMG that is just horrible! Feel awful for the kid. That has to be devastating for her - just before her freshman year in college. Best wishes for a speedy recovery...
Agree, but if it is a broken leg she could still play this year, that would not be the case with a tor ACL.

With 7 minutes to go it looks like they will break 100 points. Didn't think they would have got past 80 after the 1st quarter.

Prince's injury took all of the air out of my sails. I'm not enjoying this game anymore, it can't be over soon enough.

With the tournament being this close to the start of classes, if I was a college coach I would have serious reservations about letting my players be on the team. I know it is a national squad and it is great honor--still. Karen Aston has to be sick.

Aston is cussing up a blue streak right now.

103-59 final. NaLyssa Smith (Baylor) led with 24. Geno was interested in her.

Interesting stats: We won rebounding by 63-31 but assists by only 14-12.

The game was ragged, but we have too much depth, size, and speed for the other teams. Canada is unlikely to beat us ... unless they play Kia Nurse and Laeticia Amihere.

US plays against El Salvador on Sunday, should be a walk in the park.

as I'm reminded every time I see my daughter walk on the court after her knee surgery.....................every one of those kids is a play away from missing a season or worse............you can do all the preventative exercises you want.........................if it's going to happen it's going to happen...................hopefully it's the "good" kind of break which heals relatively quickly and not an ACL tear........................as terrible as it sounds Texas is lucky as they have former UConn commit Charlie Collier to handle the post position if need be
