Paid a bunch of money to play basketball and live in LA surrounded by B1G sorority girls? Or make less money to go to a Catholic school in suburban Cincy? That's a no brainer.
Devil's advocate. I think you may have it backwards. Be a BMOC surrounded by hotties or live in LA where you are a nobody and whatever money you do have is nothing compared to the next guy. Just keeping it real. And if you think the odds aren't that good at Xavier, you can always go slumming at Cincy.

I wonder if the men's game switched to quarters like the women's game would it help with games now running well over the 2hr window, it's getting outta control
It's the TV timeouts which ruin the game. A coach can call a timeout with say 8:30 on the clock. Then they play for a while and then the 8 minute TV timeout. It's really way too much downtime.

Hard not to like a 6’6” guard scoring 16ppg on 50% shooting on a bad USC team. Also 4+ assists per game. The turnovers are an issue but I wonder how much of it is a product of how they’re using him as a pretty significant uptick to last year. I really liked him at Xavier and thought he was a big loss for them. He’s also shooting 35% from 3, which is solid enough. If he was coached by Miller he knows how to be coached.

Archetype is exactly what we need, would love a second taller more natural PG to boot. I feel like Hurley will never take from the BE, but now a year removed and a CT kid, hmmmm.
I never really got point guard vibes watching him play. Him and Saint Thomas are the only dudes on that roster who can pass at all, so it feels like he runs offense out of necessity. I think he's a really good player, but it doesn't seem like he'd have the same freedom offensively here, and we already have a boatload of 6'3-6'6 scoring guards next year.

Love him as a versatile 1-3 that can score off the dribble and has a handle. We don’t really have one of those and I’m not counting on frosh to be that.

Didn't watch any other games but checking scores. I can't imagine this game was enjoyable and it pisses me off that the Big Ten settles for this slop. UConn shot 56% and Georgetown shot 52 % tonight. I mean, it's not even funny.

58 - 8 Michigan State 34%
55 - 16 Maryland 31%

Holy smokes rutgers. They were up 57-49 at the half and lost on a buzzer beater. 57 points in the first half!
