He's talking about Xavier
Xavier is 18-10 and in on palms CBS bracket, I truly believe if Desmond stayed they be a cold stone lock to be in. At USC no chance, that was my point.

I wonder if the men's game switched to quarters like the women's game would it help with games now running well over the 2hr window, it's getting outta control

Watching Houston and thinking how bad they would destroy us. That is a bunch of men. Them against SJU would be some kind of physical.

Anyone have any interest in Claude coming here for his senior year? Big point guard who is great getting in the lane and scoring in the midrange and around the rim. He brings things this team sorely lacks but he doesn't shoot many threes and he's turnover prone.

Hard not to like a 6’6” guard scoring 16ppg on 50% shooting on a bad USC team. Also 4+ assists per game. The turnovers are an issue but I wonder how much of it is a product of how they’re using him as a pretty significant uptick to last year. I really liked him at Xavier and thought he was a big loss for them. He’s also shooting 35% from 3, which is solid enough. If he was coached by Miller he knows how to be coached.

Archetype is exactly what we need, would love a second taller more natural PG to boot. I feel like Hurley will never take from the BE, but now a year removed and a CT kid, hmmmm.

Would love Claude but maybe in the AJ role as a third G / secondary ball handler? I don’t really remember Claude on Xavier how is he defensively?

Good - can guard 1-3

Houston gonna lock up the B12 in front of Pat Mahomes. Not too shabby. This one might officially push them onto the 1 line.
Kelvin looks like Yoda walking around these days. We need more athletes like he gets.

I know USC is not “the basketball capital“ but SoCal with NIL is not a bad gig.
But I could see St John’s going after him as a Richmond replacement

I’ve been seeing a lot of crap about Michigan State being a legit Final Four team. Am I the only one who thinks the B1G is a garbage conference this year? I predict none of their teams even make the Elite 8. (This will probably age poorly, but no one will remember.)

I actually think Maryland may have highest upside. But yeah they’re overrated. They’re a fun conference because there is a lot of parity, but no team with a lot of upside to make a run. I saw the Purdue meltdown a mile in advance. They’re limited athletically, and have been burning Smith 40 minutes a game all season. He’s wearing out.

Yowza - I wonder how the Tarheel faithful feel about that, and what motivated the UNC AD to extend. Hubie has an interesting arc, taking a low seeded team into the Finals year 1, to a bidless preseason 1, to a 1 seed/S16 to this year. He's like a box of chocolates.

Also hired an NBA agent to be their GM. Maybe they think the combination works better.

Will be interesting if Georgia’s win over Florida puts them on the right side of the bubble. With the SEC potentially getting 12 or 13 teams in, we really need to take care of business and avoid the bubble. Committee will be itching to get in as many of these SEC bubble teams as possible.

3 Florida loses to Georgia 88-83. Good. Georgia was up 41-16 at one point. Lost the lead 80-78. Pulled out the W.
24 Miss St vs 6 Alabama will have a loser.

SEC down to 8 ranked teams. That's what happens when the conference starts playing .500 ball.
