Feb 11th on the road vs Georgia, how much further do you want to carry the goalposts?
I’m not moving anything. They don’t perform well together on a consistent basis. And definitely not against the better teams.

You won. You proved they perform well together once in a while. Against Georgia and Texas

Don’t see that at all. Houston is not what we’ve seen the last few years. If you want to talk about quality wins, would love to see theirs. I think Florida would smack Houston. They’re very talented but uncohesive.
Neither of them have the quality wins. So that’s a wash. Next up is play style. Houston plays much more aggressive on the perimeter. I can see us struggling more against that play style. I think we can handle a tough front court. I worry about a team getting in our jerseys and the perimeter and not alllowing us to run our offense. That’s been our Achilles heel. We just turned the ball over 16 times against SH

A “rather” conversation is different. I like my chances against either. The 2 that would give us the most problems is Houston. They’re a souped up SH. And SH turned us over 16 times. Avoid that 2 seed if anyone. Florida doesn’t apply enough ball pressure to me to force us to play our worst
And that game would be in Houston in the south regional too.

Michigan is going to be hurt not having LJ Cason, now Elliot Cadeau has the pressure of being their only point guard.

.-.

I think fans use the word worried and concerned way too loosely. Whoever you play in the elite 8 will be good.

Their perimeter defenders and hedging defenders are not the same.

No one is worried - it’s fun anticipating and hoping for an ideal path. All part of the March process.

Sure. But they’re still good. And it’s the play style. Sampson still coaches and aggressive on ball defense. We’ll be able to run our stuff against UF. It’ll come down to making shots.
