Hard to argue with these choices!
If you think you could pick a better 5 than Calhoun, you would be wrong.Allen
Drummond
Donyell
Nadav
Butler at the 2

KEA, Donyell, and I’d add Rudy Gay also.I was a little surprised there was no mention of KEA or Donyell Marshall, but can't really argue with any of his picks either.
More dominant than 34-2 with a National Championship? 1999.I like it but would switch Rip to start and Ben to 6. But ‘Yell is tough to keep out with what was surely the most dominant year we’ve seen in the JC era.
Was about to post the same thing. Donyell has the best individual season of any UConn player in the JC era, imo - 25/9/3blks on 51/31/75. Kemba, obviously, is right there, but he had several awful shooting games where he tried/had to play hero ball and it was awful.I will take Donyell over Caron. Donyell might have been the most dominant players ever. And I will take Rip over Ben.

Agree about Donyell 1993-1994 had the most dominant season under Calhoun. Thought you meant team dominanceYes as a player for sure, no one had a better season since. Dominant on both ends carried a pretty good Husky team to within 2 FTs (his own) of a probable FF. I didn’t say team results I said as a player he was the guy his last year.
So does this mean we can't do "all time UConn starting 5" threads every couple months any more?
