I think everyone in the Boneyard who is under 80 could score in this game

Kelsey Mitchell has been Maryland's nemesis the past two years, because Brenda's preference for an open-floor game plays right into Kelsey's strengths. She is lighting them up.
 
Maryland finished Q3 on a 14-0 run in the last 3:38. Two-point game now.

Slocum very good and composed for a frosh.

But if she has a kid, she needs to name it Kelly. Or Beyonce.
 
Wow. What a bust from Maryland. After all that belly-aching over their seeding, and after their fans have been pointing to this game for weeks as the one that will prove Maryland's worth, they lay this egg.
 
All credit to tOSU for the win. I really thought MD would win by 10+. They were playing to show they deserved a 1 seed. The loss may put them firmly in the 3 seed category based on their weak SOS. And tOSU did it without Mavunga, and with McCoy fouling out.

Not a lot of defense for sure, but maybe it's just some good offense. For me a very entertaining game to watch, and a good game if you are a casual observer of WCBB taking a peek to see if it's worth taking a 2nd look.
 
Maryland is now just literally hugging the OSU player, far away from the ball, whom they want to put on the foul line. I really hate that.

Md will need not just a win but a pretty significant win in the BiG tourney to get a #2 seed. But I think they can and probably will do that. MD's big problem was letting OSU control tempo. When they slowed things down, things were much better for the Terps.

I agree..........I've often said that she's a bit over rated but I think she pretty much played the entire game, made key baskets and kept it under control for the most part............

As well as holding tOSU to under 36 in the first quarter.....I cannot remember anyone scoring 35 in a quarter
