If the B1G does make a move... we have to hope it includes us, since UVA, MD, RU and even UNC have been mentioned in rumors. UNC would opt to stay put, unless the ACC were already completely destabilized. Say, some combination of NC State, FSU, VTech, Miami leaving for SEC /B12 could cause UNC to ditch Duke. Then the B1G becomes the big kahuna. But if that (admittedly unlikely) scenario doesn't happen UConn is waiting for ND / Swofford make their next move.

Agreed. We are a poor fit for the Big Ten. No rivalries whatsoever. We'd be like BC in the ACC, lost sheep.

The only way I see another conference expansion happening is with a play off system that requires only conference teams the ability to play in. That would force Notre Dame to drop it's precious independent status thus restarting the expansion bus.
