I bet there are multiple negotiations going on right now that we aren’t privy to where playing time, development, NIL, etc is being discussed at advanced levels.

Tom Moore is on this stuff during the season. There's no way we weren't doing the work behind the scenes before the portal opened. There's also no way they didn't see the possibility of Reibe not returning.

With the craziness of the portal nowadays, I'm sure one of his jobs is to essentially scout every position for making a tentative "Top 20" list for every single position for all player experiences (So. through Grad Transfer).

Odds are will be that probably 75% of those players in the list will be in the portal at the end of the season, so a lot of the prelim scouting work is done!

Yeah I see an oversized PG. I'm surprised as he looks too slow to play that position based off the highlights.

It's starting to look as if we'll need to go to Italy and convince Adama to come back. The NCAA won't fight it because they won't want to lose another lawsuit. We fill a gaping hole, win #7 and get ready to bring Thabeet and Drummond back for their last collegiate season..........

I'm not in favor of this at all even though he's one of my all-time favorites.

BUT how would the NCAA stop this from happening?

If anything, it would encourage a floodgate of players leaving college since they would know they can always come back.
