I wish Steve luck.

he will look great on a team that is willing to overlook his complete defensive ineptitude. UConn is not that team. Defense first. Always. Its why we can win with people like Nolan and Brimah at center.

But he has a serious offensive upside skillset and I have a feeling that people watching from afar will say " hey how did he get away" without remembering that the guy would literally be turned around at times guarding people backwards on the defensive end.

In a better timeline, it was. In a better timeline he'd have taken a postgrad year, then redshirted this year, and been entering our team next season as a RS-Fr.

I hate losing Connecticut kids. I hope wherever he goes, he destroys all comers. Maybe Fairfield? That'd be sick.
