No mention of NCAA penalty on NC. Of course not, because there is none.

Even if there were a penalty, why would it be brought up in an article about this specific recruit?

I can't wait to tag you after every monster game Amida has next year :)

Can't wait to get tagged. I'm all in for him getting better for sure.

But as we speak this kid has a much better idea around the basket and away from it than Amida, where we stand today. If AB improves I will be the the first to congratulate him I promise, I am hoping he does!

How set would we be with our bigman situation if we somehow landed this kid? I hope he see's thru the hype of some of these other schools and comes to UCONN and develops. A future front court with Enoch and him could be dominating. I pray we can somehow get this kid.

It would almost be overkill if we got Izundu. We'd have Brimah, Miller, Enoch, Facey, Nolan to go with him. Brimah and Miller are pretty clearly the starters, and I don't see any way find enough minutes for the other four, even if you figure that Enoch and Izundu would be playing sparingly as freshmen.

Beanpole? Really are you kidding. We are Beanpole U and this ain't one of them.
I mean 210 at 6'10 is gonna be thin. I believe Facey is in that 205-215 range and he definitely is skinny.

He's just not as "thin" by looking at him as AB, DD, Kelis Fisher coming in. Plus a couple moves to the basket he actually moves people so he's a bit tougher than our average UConn "thinster"

Love some of the small things he does - great hands and natural instincts it seems on offense and quick ups on putbacks after rebounds and as well on blocked shots. Seems more gifted than his ranking.
