IIRC Tony Robertson dunked over Lonnie Baxter in the second half of the 2002 regional finals.Off the top of my head, the Donyell Marshall 360 dunk on the fast break was probably more memorable, but there aren’t many better contested ones than this one.
That’s a really good one. Bravo. Sticks’ follow dunk in the Final Four vs Michigan State enters the chat as well.IIRC Tony Robertson dunked over Lonnie Baxter in the second half of the 2002 regional finals.
Totally agree on the scheduling. 4 teams that were -35 each is not great. At least put a couple of games against teams that are -17 to -25. They aren't that hard to find even with not knowing everything before the schedule is set.Have to think that was Hurley’s last go at mass “experimenting” and we’ll see something a lot closer to how he wants to build the team on the go forward. He’ll likely ratchet the rotation down a bit and the guys that he sees as the winning pieces against real teams become more prominent.
One thing I don’t get with the scheduling is not amping up the competition at least a little bit before you go right into heavy hitters. Perhaps two stinkers to start then two semi decent mid majors. Really not sure what you learn against teams you can just overpower for 40. I realize some of these are scheduled well in advance.
Kirk King’s follow dunk in the ‘96 Big East championship game vs Georgetown to pull UConn within 1 late in the game is another one of the all timers.IIRC Tony Robertson dunked over Lonnie Baxter in the second half of the 2002 regional finals.
He had his eyes mostly closed. So ref didnt think he was totally in the other players face..Shocked he wasn't T'd up for that.
Last 11 minutes or so looked like we were going through the motions. We look bored. Hopefully no bad habits stem from this, but tonight was not pretty.
Throw Sticks' dunk in the Texas game in there as wellThat’s a really good one. Bravo. Sticks’ follow dunk in the Final Four vs Michigan State enters the chat as well.
We also can play well and lose. You can say that about any game. These games are used to find some rotations that might work for situations. We’ll be fine and I expect another beat down on Monday. Because that’s just what we do to teams. We're losing to Memphis if we play like that.

ThisFeeling a little uneasy about Maui.
This is one of the better ones in UConn history IMO.
I’ll match your Dyson and raise you Stanley or Rudy.Dyson might want to have say in nasty dunk conversation.
This always has a soft spot in my heart:I’ll match your Dyson and raise you Stanley or Rudy.
