Five-star PG Dylan Mingo visiting UConn this weekend
Dylan Mingo, a five-star point guard in the 2026 class, is taking an official visit to UConn this weekend, he told Rivals.www.on3.com
Hope so since UConn is by far the closest school out of all the ones on his list.I had forgotten that his brother committed to Penn State. Maybe Dylan will want to stay relatively close to home, too, so his family can get to games more easily. Remember when things like that used to matter in recruiting?
Can this be merged into the recruiting thread. I didn't noticB4.
Can we get a home-and-home with Penn State starting next year?I had forgotten that his brother committed to Penn State. Maybe Dylan will want to stay relatively close to home, too, so his family can get to games more easily. Remember when things like that used to matter in recruiting?
Only if we get a H&H in football. Can we get a home-and-home with Penn State starting next year?

Like them or hate them, Sleepers is all in on Mingo has no business going anyplace but UConn. They think Dan and crew will hit it out of the park with this visit and Mingo will commit sooner rather than later. No info. Just their gut, but nice to hear.

Can they play together like Newton and Castle, leaning more towards two point guards? The best take in that video is that we wouldn't think twice about benching senior Demary for Mingo.
I know Mingo is a borderline top 5 recruit, but I think he's underrating how good a senior Demary should be. Think they'd start together anyways.
An underrated reason why I love big lead guards:Dylan Mingo comes in at No. 6 overall, but could have more runway in front of him to keep rising. He's a full year young for his grade, has a 6-foot-10 wingspan, and is evolving into a big lead guard after averaging 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game in the EYBL season.
I didn't know he was that young.

Mingo Starr! So do we want Mingo, Toure, and Cloer at the 1-3? The 3 will still be our most stacked position so more of a multi year guy there makes sense.
