Holy crap. Can't imagine the skill set on this kid. A 6'7" 290lbs SF who is in his junior year of HS? A 2014 recruit. This is Hershel Walker, Jim Brown, Shaq O'Neill or Bo Jackson unfair for this kid to be in HS.

At 290, he's a combo forward in the sense that he's the combination of two smaller forwards. I think he ate both of them.

(He's actually only about 180 pounds.)

ESPN says he's 180lbs.

Screw you both.

If a poster here on the Boneyard says he's 6'7" and 290lbs, I'm gonna believe him over any of these scouting sites (which I checked most of them just to verify they were wrong and the Boneyard was right).

Lmao. Sorry about that I meant 190. ESPN has him at 180, Rivals has him at 190, Scout has him at 205 so 190 is about the average for all three.

@TheRecruitScoop: UConn offered 2015 Paul VI (VA) guard Franklin Howard tonight. SMU offered the sophomore earlier in the week.

Has has offers from Florida, Ohio State, NC State among others.

That's like what, three or four offers in the last 24 hours? Wonder if Ollie knows something. Like now he can tell recruits with confidence that he will be the coach next year. Just throwin' that out.

Love how many 2015 kids Ollie has offered already. Jumping into a kids recruitment early certainly doesn't hurt and it gives KO much more time to develop a relationship with a player then he has had with 2013 kids.

I find it very exciting to be talking about 2014. We all know how helpless and hamstrung we felt about the 2013 class (although there is still some hope for the spring signing period). All this early activity in 2014 & beyond helps keeping us looking toward the future & getting UCONN back to where it belongs. In my humble opinion, after a couple years of rebuilding, we will again be a force with Ollie leading the charge.

So, in other words, nobody knows how much he weighs:)
But, at 6'7", he is probably in a good weight range for a small forward.

We need to get Abdul-Abu or Reuter. Both big boys down low.

Arrogant? Wtf did I say that was arrogant....it was sarcasm and if you think that was a good pick up game then "you're pretty stupid sometimes"!! Geez where do we get these people? Can't even have a laugh anymore.......

I have nothing to be arrogant about I promise you Mikey!!! Just an old Monday QB with an opinion but thanks for yours, it was enlightening!!

Since I'm such an a** let me point out it's "you're arrogant.." not your......;)

His jumpshot does look a lot like Rudy Gay's in those clips. His athleticism, not as much. Not a knock on his athletic ability but Rudy was just on another level.
