So I figure that if the Pukies lose another 2 games or more and squeak by a couple more against competition that is in the bottom half of the conference, they will likely be ranked in the top 1 or 2 in the AP poll, don't you think? I guess we'd have to beat 3 top 25 teams by 30 points to move from 21 to 19.

Hartford! Now Virginia! It still rankles me being in the Tropicana Dome in 99 and listening to the Doookie wusses chanting "We're out-standing!" It made their quiet when the game was over so much more satisfying.

While Duke is a great shooting team which means they can beat anyone, Duke is also ripe for an early round upset. It is a young team that is going to start to wear down. It is one thing to play 2 games a day for a long weekend in some no-defense AAU tournament, it is another to play 30+ games against grown men over 4.5 months. Freshmen starters often begin to wear down around this time of year.

I think this will be one of the wildest tournaments in years.
