Love the kid with the crew cut just under the ball, holding up three. He called it.
UConn > blue bloods > everybody elseScrew the chatter about being a blue blood, we are officially the new blood
Thank you! I’m going to see if recording can be possible on Paramount+. I think they should have CBSSN?The NCAA is very strict with putting replays of the NCAA Tournament games out there. Best way to see the replay is on CBS Sports Network and DVR it. The schedule says tonight at 8:00 pm and 1:00 am.

I think that is why they missed those FTs down the stretch, so they could beat them down 2 with the last shot at the buzzer.A lot of times teams come back, take the lead briefly, then surrender it and can't bounce back again. UConn had perfect timing this game: took the lead with less than a second left, leaving Duke no time to respond.
lolKudos to Alaska and WV
Another view (below the other view):
I really didn't see it as a strut. I was impressed how he went from jubilantly euphoric to calm and serious at the flip of a switch!I LOVE Hurley's strut to the handshake line. LMAO!
One reason I like Grant Hill is because of his dad, Yale University Calvin Hill. The fact it's Grant Hill makes it so much better (and he is one of the few Dukies I like).
That is one amazing shot, look at the facial expressions!Kid holding up the 3 behind Rudy (maybe one of Luke’s sons) is a legend. He knew that shot was all net
Great summery showing defense works wonders. Steals are the unsung heros of games as scoring are the highlights. The tape of this game should be in Springfield and every coach's tournament reviews. Classic is not enough hype for what happened.Evans averages 15 per game. Had only 7 points and he only took 6 shots. Foster played 14 minutes with 0 points, one shot and 3 turnovers. Cayden Boozer the only guard that had any success.
Duke shot 52% overall, 40% from 3, and made 16 foul shots. UConn shot 44% overall, 22% from 3 and made 12 foul shots. Duke outrebounded UConn 34 to 28. UConn winning with this shooting math makes no sense.
Key turnovers and were the difference. Duke had 13 turnovers to UConn's 5. Mullins, Karaban, Solo and Smith with 0 turnovers in a combined 112 minutes. Lots of big points were off of steals. Reed's steal and dunk cut it to 10, Solo steal lead to the 1st Demary 3 to cut the lead to 7. Solo's steal and 3 point play cut it to 2. Reed steal leads to Karaban 3 to cut it to 1. The THE STEAL by Demery and THE SHOT by Mullins. UConn had 20 points off turnovers to Duke's 7, with most coming late in the game.
Perhaps the Duke brain trust didn't want to stop play to allow Hurley set up his defense??? Some decisions are indistinguishable from being right or wrong! If you go back and watch the setup to Demary’s second FT attempt, the players on the floor for Duke looked like they were orchestrating a Chinese fire drill. Arms pointing left and right and up and down, front and back. Might’ve been a good idea to use your final timeout there, but what do I know?
LOL!!! I'm sorry, when did Coach K win 3 championships in 4 years ?
And Malachi was in the game to boot!
I like the little kid just under the ball with his hand raised high. Is he holding up 1 finger, 2 or 3?
Hilarious. Not surprised they thought Malachi ran off the bench. He was a bench player but was in there for the last play of the game. A little surprising. Hurley obviously wanted Smith's ball pressure for that final play to try to get a steal. Smith has his limitations height wise but ball pressure is one of his strengths. The talking heads win!
yeah, but the first thought shoulnd't be "how can we scam the other team"Hilarious. Not surprised they thought Malachi ran off the bench. Or regarding AK, they confused UConn with Yukon. That was a real thing 35 years ago.lol
Pretty sure this AI slop out Alaska for us cuz we are the Huskies.
WV….i got nothing.
I was scared of him because every time I've seen Duke play he makes all their big shots. I also thought several of his comments during this tournament showed arrogance. He made his first couple shots against us and then did absolutely nothing the rest of the game.Isaiah Evan’s didnt even bother to put a hand up
