Of course he did. My guess the lease was a gift from a local dealership- NILHopefully he leased the car.

Toriyan Johnson deserves some love too.
He stepped in when Ben got injured and played well enough. No penalties and obvious blown assignments. Looks like he can step up next season on the line.
And Juice Vereen is going to get a lot of phone calls and offers of good $$$ from other teams.
We kept saying, "now this next play will decide the game and if they don't make this 4th and long we should head out." We stayed past the end of the game.May have been said earlier, but just when you think this team just doesn’t have it (see Delaware or Rice pudding), this win just pulls you back
Ill never forget the Thursday night game against Pitt and Dave Wandstedt circa 2004. Was loud as heel and Pitt got back to back false starts followed by a timeout in the 4th. Was electric. It was always great. Today was awesome, but there were days 15 years ago when the place was genuinely full and incredibly loud. This was a good taste. We’d have a lot of games like this in the ACC or B12. We deserve to be there.
That was our first ever home Big East game. And the crowd — especially the student section — was incredibly loud.Ill never forget the Thursday night game against Pitt and Dave Wandstedt circa 2004. 2006 OT game where D.J. tossed the football out of the Rent was another wild UConn/Pitt classic. Wish we could get a regular series going w/ them again. Good road trip as well. That was our first ever home Big East game. And the crowd — especially the student section — was incredibly loud.
Wait wasn't that Wlat Harris?Ill never forget the Thursday night game against Pitt and Dave Wandstedt circa 2004. Was loud as heel and Pitt got back to back false starts followed by a timeout in the 4th. Was electric.
Then we went to Pitt and Lou Allen had an Al Bundy type game against them with like 3 TDs.2006 OT game where D.J. tossed the football out of the Rent was another wild UConn/Pitt classic. Wish we could get a regular series going w/ them again. Good road trip as well.
Even better, with more at stake, was the 2010 night game with Todman’s 4th and 2 from our own 28.2006 OT game where D.J. tossed the football out of the Rent was another wild UConn/Pitt classic. Wish we could get a regular series going w/ them again. Good road trip as well.
That was the Thursday night game it poured while tailgating? Tents were flying.Even better, with more at stake, was the 2010 night game with Todman’s 4th and 2 from our own 28.
It was the ‘04 game that gametime conditions were o.k. But it poured a few hours before kickoff. We had to set the grill under the rear hatch and eat in the car. That was the Thursday night game it poured while tailgating? Tents were flying.
scew pitt. and anyone else who absolutely refuses to even give a single flower our way. I challenge pitt and any other former Big East peer, to do half of what Jim Mora has done with the crap salad he was given at UConn.UConn has its own thread on the Pitt board now. Not a ton there, but had to chuckle at the 7th post.

The game was against West Virginia. We had been in the midst of a beautiful Oct Indian Summer stretch. After the rain the temp dropped - a lot. Remember not being dress properly for the game.It was the ‘

Bell is a draft pick for sure. He has serious quickness, and his hands have been excellent this year. It counts if he is invited to the Senior Bowl or Combine, which I think will happen.I think they both find their way on an NFL roster next year. They've been that good.
THIS GAME.While our D is sometimes disparaged, the blitz packages, this year, have been great!!
Glad to see no Prevent on Duke’s last drive.

they love to talk about our horrible schedule and instead of saying "hey UConn has started a revival process worth respecting" they instead flip the conversation to say the ACC is blackmarked because we have managed to beat some of them.
I will never treat any team and its fanbase, as poorly as UConn has been treated by the P4 message boards. They have no idea what it is to be on this side, stuck between P4 and G6.
Agree 100%. Watched the TV broadcast this morning and there is no comparison between the crowd sound on screen and how insanely loud it was at the Rent last night. I wish it translated better.Just want to comment about the crowd in person vs the crowd on television. It was pretty clear that the announcers recognized the energy in the stadium and if you were tgere you felt and heard it. But it really didn't translate to TV the way it does on other broadcasts. Hearing games at home through my HT it's obvious how Fox/CBS/ABC-ESPN manipulate and enhance the sound for many of their broadcasts. It can really be immersive but sometimes it's annoying and I need to turn it way down. Instead of sounding like you're at an actual game it's more like a Wizard of Oz experiment by sound engineers. By contrast the CBSSN broadcast sounded pretty dead. You could hear the crowd but it seemed off in the background for me. Kind of like the noise level that was basically the buzz between plays in the stadium. Not sure if it's totally a network thing or a technology issue within the stadium but just my .02 that maybe can be looked at for the future. (I know "it's always something")
Watched the TV broadcast today and waited to see that one. Total BS call. The defensive back got himself caught up between Neider and Rosa (i believe) and was backpedaling and lost his balance. Contact was minimal and announcers agreed.I think this was it.
15-yd Penalty

Shotgun #2 J.Fagnano pass complete short right to #80 J.Neider caught at UConn41, for 32 yards to the Duke31 (#8 D.Stone), out of bounds PENALTY UConn Pass Interference (#80 J.Neider) 15 yards from UConn37 to UConn22. NO PLAY
3rd & 6 at CONN 37
That was a huge play. We don’t convert on that forth down fake punt. The game is over.A very satisfying game. I thought there was a chance we would get blown out, but I guess I need to give the offense much more credit.
It felt almost like the ND game from way back. Like we had to beat the Refs and the opponent.
For me the call of the game was the fake punt. We were dead if not for that.
I can’t be convinced that UConn would not be competitive in the ACC or the Big 12. We would need a year or two for the recruiting to pick up a little but the ingredients are there. We got the chef we just need a kitchen. Great win, go Huskies!
Etched into my memory circuits. Anthony Sherman laid the wood and Todman got 4. End of game.Even better, with more at stake, was the 2010 night game with Todman’s 4th and 2 from our own 28.
Shout out to Connor for making a crucial play. If he doesn't snag the high snap and position it quickly and cleanly, that's 3 less points on the board and we all know what that would have meant. The kick holder being punter Connor Stutz who IIRC also caught a high snap before a punt. Both Stutz and Freeman have been huge, and will be missed after this season.
