they used to be #2 on my list after Cuse but they havent had as many hateable players as they used to. i actually want to watch guys like Zion and Barrett and Stanley and Carey

Hatred is many times a byproduct of envy or jealousy.
 
i’m cool with d00k & kentucky . even the games we lost were competitive. i have animosity towards AAC teams. we shouldn’t have lost to SMU and Houston and Tulsa as much as we did.

Personally I hate the Old Big East defectors like Pitt & Cuse most of all for subjecting the UConn greatness to AAC. Thankfully they have destroyed themselves while UConn is back & home again.

I think the potential is still there to really hate them. I blanket hate many of them now because Puke is paying (Zion, Bagley) and not getting caught.
But the real problem is with many being 1 and done, I don't get enough time to fully develop my hatred. I had the chance to hate Laettner for 4 full seasons.
 
DOOK is there to be hated - they have themselves in that position
Their fans are reprehensible, the Dickie V love, Christian L, Wojo, even Coach K has become insufferable
But I have to admit that I like Shane B and J Tatum

When you think about it, the rest of the NCAA Div. 1 teams should be sending us love letters because we prevented Duke and Kentucky from two NCs apiece.

You think they're insufferable now? Imagine how much worse it could have been.
 
Christian Laettner's "Hail Mary" shot at the buzzer in 90 kept us from advancing..Have no problem with UConn being in their heads..BTW..Had a spontaneous conversation with Ricky M about shutting down Trajan (sp?)... in a bar in Manchester.. Pretty interesting..

I've run into a number of Duke fans at tournaments. They are the least aware fans I've ever met with no close second. They are all Duke all the time, but most of them have very little knowledge or interest in college basketball outside of their team.

Boat played some pretty intense "D" in the Title game.. Where was that the rest of his UConn career?? LOL

I was thinking about this the other day. Hurley's one of those guys that you love as your coach but can't stand if he is coaching the opposition.
