Should give us a decent idea of where the bodies are buried,
as we approach March.
 
Love to see things shaken up a bit today with a Duke win. Do I expect it? Hardly. But it can happen.
 
Duke got blown out on their home floor in the first game so I'm really not expecting to much in this game. It would be nice though to see Duke upset ND.

ND burying a few more bodies today..

Announcer said she thinks ND should get the overall #1 seed because they've beaten 12 top 50 RPI teams vs 6 for UCONN.
 
Duke is pitiful. ND vastly improved without SD.

Duke at almost a TO per minute.
 
WOW! An old fashioned ass-whipping so far. Duke with 2 points in 7 minutes.

Really? At this point the score is 15- 2, in favor of guess who? Duke is puzzling. How can the players be so good, and the team so bad?

On another note, the announcers just opined that ND should be the top rated teamg oing into the NCAAW Tournament. Oh I HOPE that happens, nothing like insult to add motivation.

Sims is the NPOY and Notre Dame is the overall #1 seed... interesting and I dont disagree.

I think we would/should be the overall top seed if the season ended today, but it would be just fine if we ended up #2 seed: We would still be on the opposite side of the bracket from ND and we would have a little chip :)

Before ESPN put the graphic up I thought UCONN would be the overall #1 seed, after the graphic, not so much. Seeing it on the screen was pretty interesting. I am ok with ND being the overall #1 seed.

as far as NPOY, I am going with Ogwumike. I dont like Sims attitude when things arent going her way just my opinion and she takes 30 shots a game to get 30 points.

That was one bizarre close to the half
 
ND out scores Duke 20-2 in the first 8 minutes.

Duke out scores ND 30-26 the last 12 minutes.
 
I think Duke now goes in to these games with such apprehension, that they're very tight, leaving them susceptible to a knock-out punch. They played ok over the last 12 minutes after I think they kinda forgot about the score and just played. But overall I think their confidence is shot.
